AKC Limited Registration (Spay/Neuter) $1,800 –
$2,200
ASCA/AKC full registration: An exception to my
Limited Registration Policy may rarely be made for a select number of
puppies should several qualifications be met by both the puppy and the
buyer. The puppy would have to meet specific AKC/ASCA breed standard
characteristics and exhibit potential for a successful show career. The
potential buyer(s) would need to be actively involved in
showing/breeding and have some level of experience in the breed in order
to be approved for a breeding/show-quality puppy.
Purchase Information
-
WE WILL NOT HOLD A PUPPY WITHOUT A RESERVATION FEE
-
A non‑refundable Reservation Fee is required to secure your place on the waitlist once the puppies are born. The reservation fee can be paid via Zelle, Cash, or check. The waitlist is honored in the order in which the buyer was added to the waitlist. If the buyer does not place the reservation fee within a week of being notified that the puppies are available, they will lose their place on the waitlist.
-
Placing a Reservation Fee. Once the puppies are born and we know what is available, we will ask for the $200 reservation fee to hold a particular puppy. The breeder’s acceptance of the buyer’s Reservation Fee signifies that the buyer has read and agrees to all terms of this sale contract
Reservation Fees don’t expire but are transferable to another
available puppy or one in the next available litter.
Please don’t ask to be placed higher on the waitlist; you cannot
purchase a higher pick position.
The remaining balance is due in cash on puppy pickup day.
Puppies with a Reservation Fee before 8 weeks of age are to be
picked up at 8 weeks of age, or boarding arrangements can be made in
advance.
Puppies/dogs with a Reservation Fee after 8 weeks of age must be
picked up within 2 weeks of the fee being placed.
In the case of a puppy needing an extended stay here, you will be
billed for your puppy’s vet bills & a minimal daily/weekly boarding
fee to cover our time and costs.
The Waitlist – How It Works
We do not breed to meet a demand for puppies, therefore, we do not always have puppies available. We carefully plan our breedings in hopes that they will produce a pup to carry forward in our program. Old West reserves the right to 1st pick on every litter born here. This does not mean we will retain a puppy from every litter; it only means we may.
A $200 Non-refundable but transferable Reservation Fee will
reserve your spot on our waiting list.
Reservation Fees are non-refundable. Please allow us to answer all your questions and provide everything you need to be comfortable choosing our Aussie breeding program. Please feel free to contact us and ask any questions.
If you make a Reservation Fee but something comes up and you can’t
take the puppy at the time, your
Reservation Fee can be placed on the next available litter. Reservation
Fees do not expire.
We will have waitlist openings on each upcoming litter.
We will start the waitlist as soon as we know we have a litter on the
way. We honor your choice of color and gender in the order in
which the Reservation Fee was received.
All puppies are on hold until each person on the list picks their
puppy in the order the buyers were placed on the waitlist.
If you do not have strong preferences for color/gender and are
focused on the best fit for your family, you will usually get your puppy
sooner.
Please know, all puppies must be picked up at 8 weeks old
unless arrangements are made in advance.
If a puppy must stay longer than 9 weeks of age, there will be a $100
weekly boarding fee & you will be responsible for any vet bills (shots,
checkups, flight/health certificates) your puppy may accumulate during
this time.
